Back-to-Wall Baths
A back-to-wall bath is a fairly recent concept in bathroom design, whereby the bathtub is designed specifically to be positioned against 1 or more walls whilst leaving the remaining sides exposed. The back-to-wall bath type is often utilised in premium baths that try to emulate the style of a freestanding bath without being fully freestanding - a D-shaped or bow-fronted tub, for instance. In other cases, a back-to-wall bath might take the shape of a typical rectangular bath, but with a design-led difference such as a curved front that cannot easily be inset.
