Single Convector Radiators · Type 11 · K1

A Single Convector radiator - also referred to as a K1, Type 11, or SC radiator - is a steel panel radiator for central heating systems. Consisting of a single front panel and single row of fins (the convector), these radiators come in a variety of heights and widths to suit almost any application. As one of the 3 most common configurations of panel radiator, these Type 11 models have a lower heat output when compared to Type 21 or Type 22 models of the same height and width.

Whilst designer radiators are more pleasing on the eye and come in many different colours and styles, a standard panel radiator will usually give a better heat output due to the addition of convector fins. Because of their standard sizing, they're great if you're swapping out an old radiator of the equivalent size, or if you're heating a room that doesn't need a focal point.
